We offer individual therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults. A variety of therapeutic modalities are used including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral, crisis intervention, client centered, evidence-base treatment methods, faith based counseling, mindfulness therapy, brief/short term solution focused therapy, skilled building, interpersonal, and psychotherapy explores thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and seeks to improve an individual’s well-being.
Helps individuals develop communication skills and socialization skills, and allows clients to learn how to express their issues and accept criticism from others. Group therapy allows individuals to develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues. We can provide you with a calendar of group topics and allotted times.
DBT - DIALETICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Aims to teach clients with various skills on how to cope with painful emotions, as well as change unhealthy behaviors.
COGNITIVE BEHAVORIAL THERAPY
Focuses on the individual's attitude, beliefs, and thoughts that are affecting their behaviors and feelings. Though CBT, clients will learn coping strategies when dealing with challenges.
IPT - INTERPERSONAL THERAPY
Focused on relationships, life transitions, and how to improve communication, identify emotions, and the links between events and feelings.
The goal of mindfulness is to focus less on reacting to something or someone and more on observing and accepting without judgement. It teaches you to be aware of your thoughts and feelings and to accept them, but not attach or react to them. This practice helps you to notice your automatic reaction and to change it to be more of a reflection.
